Uploader privacy policy · Version 1.0 · 5 November 2026. This policy describes the owner-operated Wayplain Media Uploader, not every possible future Wayplain Media service.
The uploader processes Google authorization credentials; the authorized YouTube channel identifier and basic channel information; the selected video and its title/description; and upload, privacy and processing results. Local operational records include timestamps, file hashes, authorization records and upload receipts.
This information is used to verify authorization to the intended channel, upload specifically authorized videos privately, check completion and diagnose operational failures. Videos and upload metadata are sent to YouTube. Local records are stored in the owner-controlled operations environment. An authorized Slack destination may receive operational status messages and review links. Passwords, authorization tokens and private reference recordings are not included in those messages.
Credentials are stored separately with restricted file permissions and are hidden from the offline AI production services. Access is limited to the owner and authorized operators. These controls do not guarantee security against compromise of an administrator or an unrestricted account.
Authorization and operational records are retained while needed for the owner’s workflow, audit and troubleshooting, until the owner removes them or requests deletion. No fixed automatic deletion schedule is currently implemented. Contact wayplainmedia@gmail.com for access, correction or deletion requests; these are handled manually. Deleting local records does not automatically delete videos already uploaded to YouTube. The owner controls those videos in YouTube Studio.
You can revoke the app’s access through Google Account permissions. Revocation stops subsequent authorized API access. YouTube and Google process submitted content under their own policies; see the Google Privacy Policy.
Google user data is not sold or used for advertising profiling. Wayplain Media Uploader’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
This page will be updated if the application’s practices change. Contact: wayplainmedia@gmail.com.
